Back in 2012 when I was still in fitness, a friend recommended that I follow JJ Virgin because she was up to "big things" in the industry. It was only a month or so after I did that her son was in an awful hit and run accident. I followed her posts and updates over the ensuing weeks and months to see how it would unfold and was amazed and delighted to see that against major odds, he pulled through and was able to not only live, but recover beyond anyone's wildest imagining - except hers. JJ was pulling for him to be 110% the whole time. In this interview we talk about how she made it through those difficult times, and is still doing so. And my favorite part is this - during a time when a lot of people would have totally excused it if she dropped everything, her healthy habits and self-care, her business, and any other obligations, she doubled down on all of it. She shares her reason why in today's interview and it's so so good. Enjoy!
