In today's episode, we dive into the significance of anger as a source of information that reveals our boundaries, needs, and the necessary steps in our healing journey.

Plus, we explore The Warrior Goddess archetype and how it can help us alchemize our anger to fuel transformative action towards what truly needs to be defended or protected. By facing uncomfortable truths and taking action for the things we care about, we can learn from the wisdom of The Warrior Goddess and better ourselves in the process.

It’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed when witnessing the atrocities currently unfolding in our world. It's also easy to give in to external pressures, like those on social media, and conform to expectations that encourage us to mistreat each other. In this episode, Elizabeth dives into performative activism, platform policing, and embracing the sacred power of curiosity.

She also discusses how to respond to and approach these issues with humility and an open mind, much like that of a loving parent, so you can access genuine curiosity in line with your soul’s wisdom. Imagine how different the world would be if our capacity for reverence was larger than our capacity for despising things? What if we could approach those who hold different perspectives than us with an effort to understand instead of jumping to anger and judgment?

In episode 448 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

(3:52) Social media's role in activism during crises and our recommended voices to follow

(6:42) Advice for attending to your personal energy and soul's wisdom when navigating social and political issues

(9:01) The importance of curiosity to empathize with others' perspectives

(12:31) Embracing the sacred power of curiosity by asking questions and doing self-reflections

(18:23) Using curiosity, humility, and reverence as tools to bridge gaps in understanding

Today I’m exploring the working definition of Spiritual Futurism specific to The School of Sacred Embodiment. At its core, this interpretation of Spiritual Futurism calls on us to re-evaluate our connection with the divine, freeing ourselves from outdated patriarchal and colonized influences and returning to our ancestral and indigenous roots. With this approach, we can revitalize ancient traditions to fit our modern needs.

In this episode, I share how incorporating this concept into mystical leadership cultivates an open space to guide others with empathy and understanding rather than imposing rigid expectations. The result? Stronger, more compassionate communities that foster growth, an openness to reflection, and a willingness to refine.

In episode 442 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

(1:56) How contemporary spiritual leaders differ from ancient mystics and guides

(7:53) Why energetic dependency influences communities and containers

(12:46) The beauty of connecting in intimate and mixed community spaces

(20:55) The School of Sacred Embodiment’s working definition of Spiritual Futurism

(22:54) How Spiritual Futurism can bring mystics, healers and priestesses into the mainstream

(25:51) The harm caused by leaders who interpret ancient materials without considering our modern world

(30:00) Mystical leadership compared to traditional church structures and other forms of spirituality and coaching

(35:38) The challenge of stepping into collectivism in a world full of individualism

In this episode, we’re taking a deeper look at Body Love + Reverence.

Relating to our bodies is something that's interwoven into every single day and moment of our lives. This is the main reason I’m so passionate about bringing love and reverence to the experience of having a body for women.

In episode 439 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

(2:37) How major industries have made women feel unhappy and dissatisfied with their bodies

(6:48) Why the pillars of Body Love + Reverence are for anyone, regardless of the relationship with your body

(8:33) Body Love + Reverence Pillar #1: Sensual healing is about being able to tune into your self and feel and know the truth in your body

(9:29) Body Love + Reverence Pillar #2: Beauty as medicine is deciding what our own perception of beauty is, and developing the “eye of the beholder” in all areas of life

(11:27) Body Love + Reverence Pillar #3: Working with your intuition allows for presence, which enables us to fully tap into the human and soul self

(14:49) Body Love + Reverence Pillar #4: Energetic awareness shows you how powerful you really are, and taps into potential you didn’t know you had. This releases unprecedented reverence for the body

(15:26) Body Love + Reverence Pillar #5: Sacredness of every body means every single person’s body is sacred. What would you do if you knew how sacred you really are?

Welcome to the final part of my “40 Lessons in 40 Years” series. Today, we wrap up with lessons  31 to 40, exploring topics like patience, healing, and body love and reverence.

I believe in being with life wherever it is at this moment, but also chipping away at things to get to the other side. Many of these lessons reflect how we can honor each of our individual paths while also using discernment and compassion to help us make choices toward continual (and collective) growth.

I believe there are infinite amounts of resources existing within us, waiting to be remembered and reactivated. If any of the lessons in the series helped you at all, I’d love to hear from you!

In episode 439 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

(1:18) Lesson #31: One of the best uses of prayer - to pray for people to receive exactly what they need, not what we think they need.

(4:39) Lesson #32: We have to face evil and negative energy and transmute them, or they will persist.

(9:09) Lesson #33: Energy vampires have a way of draining your lifeforce, getting their fix, and not changing.

(14:49) Lesson #34: There are some things we may never fully heal or get over, but aim to get to a place where it just doesn't affect you the way it used to anymore.

(17:24) Lesson #35: Invite in reverence, which is many steps beyond respect, as a beautiful way of experiencing more grace in your life.

(17:58) Lesson #36: Stored in our souls is more wisdom, knowledge and experience the most of us will ever tap into and fully remember, in any one single lifetime,

(18:58) Lesson #37: We all need people in our lives that we can be our most unevolved selves wuth. Get you some of those people, and if you already have them, cherish them dearly!

(20:16) Lesson #38: On being on the aromantic spectrum. Until I was 38 years old, I thought I wanted a partner. It turns out, I really don't.

(23:57) Lesson #39: Slowing down is magical, and learning the difference between impulse and intuition in the body is good for the soul.

(27:06) Lesson #40: Everything you've ever needed has always been inside of you.

As I approach my 40th birthday next week, I’ve been reflecting on the experiences that shape the foundation of my value system and understanding of the world around me. In this episode, I delve into lessons 21 to 30 of my “40 Lessons in 40 Years” series, exploring topics like reciprocity, embodiment, and identity.

When it comes to my relationships, health, career – honestly, everything in my life – I’m committed to trusting my embodied awareness. I’m all about meeting people where they are, but I’ve also realized that I need to be okay with where I am and let my inner-knowing guide the way. I hope this series sparks something in you to think about your innate wisdom and what lessons you’ve picked up along the way. If anything resonates with you (or doesn’t), I’d love to hear from you!

In episode 439 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

(1:28) Lesson #21: Reciprocity is great to integrate into your value system to just ensure that you're not constantly burning yourself out and over-giving.

(4:20) Lesson #22: Be discerning about marketing versus information.

(9:22) Lesson #23: Differentiate between healthcare and illness scare (h/t to Anita Moorjani)

(10:25) Lesson #24: Be careful what you identify with and hold on to all your identities with a flexible grip.

(12:42) Lesson #25: Practice less armchair diagnosing and more discernment around what kind of behavior, treatment, and communication works best for you.

(13:50) Lesson #26: We do not need to understand things or how and why they happen in order to heal, grow, and learn from them.

(14:39) Lesson #27: People let attachment to (and weird definitions of) morality interfere with good decision making.

(15:06) Lesson #28: Here on Earth where love is extremely powerful and potent, but we also have free will with our truth, integrity, compassion, and forgiveness, love is just not enough sometimes.

(15:35) Lesson #29: Expressive arts are so important because sometimes we need stories in order to feel and acknowledge what we’re actually going through.

(17:50) Lesson #30: It’s really important to create levels in my work and be clear about who is meant for each offering.

Lessons 11 through 20 in my “40 Lessons in 40 Years” series all stem from one overarching theme: lead with curiosity. When I get curious with myself and the world around me, there’s so much potential for compassion, healing, and discovery.

In this episode, I reflect on some of my deepest liberatory practices, including not taking things personally, prioritizing people who can respect me, and honoring the orientation of my soul. All of the lessons mentioned in this series are extracted from lived experiences, either my own or those around me, so I’d love to hear what resonates with you. See you back here next week for lessons number 21 to 30!

In episode 438 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

(0:47) Lesson #11: Allowing other people to have their own experiences is one of the most liberating practices that any of us can ever have.

(4:32) Lesson #12: Don’t take things personally, or make things about you.

(7:03) Lesson #13: Chronological age doesn't guarantee or determine as much as we think it should, would or does towards people's maturity.

In this episode, I am getting into morning routines, sacred embodiment style. Instead of telling you what to do, I’m going to share a few stories, read a poem, and invite you into what I share about my morning routine, Body Love and Reverence, and the beautiful ripple effect falling in love with your body creates (spoiler: it has to do with way more than what you look like!)

I always do a birthday offering, and this year is doubly exciting. There’s a celebration coming up in September to celebrate my birthday and 10 years of the School of Sacred Embodiment, plus I share details about the CHERISH retreat happening in Spain, Fall of 2024.

If morning routines allude you or you’re tight on time in the morning and tend to skip it, I hope this episode gives you space for your own sacred morning embodiment practice to emerge, since as I like to remind people constantly,  something is always better than nothing.

In episode 436 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

(2:45) How sensual language inspires embodiment practice

(4:12) A poem inspired by my Sacred Embodied Specialist class

(7:22) My personal sacred embodiment morning routine and the practice of noticing yourself

(10:17) The value of Body Love and reverence

(12:24) How intentional connection creates a ripple effect throughout your day no matter how long you take to do it

In this episode, I am joined by the School of Sacred Embodiment’s community manager, and 1/2 of our two person Dream Team, the loving and incredibly tender-hearted Marjolaine Millette. We discuss Marjolaine’s transformation following the Wild Soul Liberation framework, and how calling off a wedding, plus navigating emotions around grief and death, allowed her to honor all parts of herself and connect with the divine in a deeper, more intentional way.

We also discuss the practice of wild dreaming as a way to expand your imagination, recognize, and dismiss the limitations “adulting” puts on us so that you can be more loving and have more access to your deepest, most honest truths.

In episode 433 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

(0:35) Introduction to Marjolaine, the School of Sacred Embodiment’s community manager

(1:24) How the School of Sacred Embodiment’s framework transformed Marjolaine’s life

(3:29) The Soulful Prosperity Workshop happening on July 22

(4:51) How Marjoliane found the Embodied podcast and the Wild Soul Liberation Community

(11:07) An experience with expressing emotions and grief on a plane

(14:36) How the choice to live your life can feel like a paradox between life and death

(30:00) How finding community helped Marjolaine commune deeper with the divine

(39:44) Marjolaine’s relationship to truth and compromising

(45:02) How being a community manager is a reflection of Marjolaine’s thoughtfulness and care

(50:00) If you should follow the call and submit an application to Power 2023
