Do you practice holy consistency?

When most of us think about consistency, we think about showing up every day, even when we don’t want to. We think about a chore, a job, or an obligation we have to keep.

But when I think of consistency, I think of ritual: something that truly enriches and enlivens my life.

In today’s episode, I’m sharing my plans for the new year and how I’m embodying holy consistency in both my work and my life.

Even with the new year just a few weeks away, I’m making a promise to myself to embrace both the periods of structure and flow in my life. Just as the seasons shift and change, so do we. We need both structure and flow, work and rest.

Join me in today’s episode as I share my plans for the new year, the adjustments I’m making to my offers, and how I’ll be connecting with our community more than ever. Plus, I’m explaining why my upcoming winter break is vital to my health and my business.

Listen to episode 373 now!

In episode 373 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

  • [2:05] My upcoming break and why my breaks are vital for my health and happiness
  • [3:04] My words of the year for 2021 and what they mean to me
  • [5:11] How to engage with your words of the year from a place of embodiment
  • [7:12] Practicing holy consistency in my life and business
  • [9:49] Finding balance between structure and flow
  • [18:15] Defining structure and consistency for yourself instead of accepting society’s definitions
  • [22:10] Challenging myself to connect even more in the new year
  • [28:13] How I’m adjusting my offerings in the new year
  • [31:50] Embracing the season and the cycles of your life

About the EMBODIED Podcast with Elizabeth DiAlto

Since 2013 I’ve been developing a body of work that helps women embody self love, healing and wholeness. We do this by focusing on the four levels of consciousness - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

In practical terms this looks like exploring tools and practices to help you  tune into the deep wisdom of the body and the knowing of the heart, which I believe are gateways to our souls. Then we cultivate a new relationship with our minds that allows the mind to serve this wisdom and knowing and soul connection, rather than override it, which is what many of us were taught.

If you’ve been doing self help or spiritual development work for a while, these are the types of foundational things that often people overlook in pursuit of fancier concepts that often aren’t practical or sustainable. Here, we will focus on building these strong foundations so you can honestly and thoroughly embody self love. If you’re feeling it, subscribe to the show, and leave us a review wherever you listen from. You can also keep up with show updates and community discussion on Instagram here.

Is your identity of your own creation?

Too often, we accept the labels others give us without a second thought. But when you sit with these labels–about your beliefs, your background, your identity–you may find that they don’t align with you. You have the power to claim or reject these labels and craft an identity for yourself.

In today’s episode, I’m chatting with Ayesha Ophelia about her journey to defining her own identity and sense of community.

Though she’s always been creative, Ayesha found her true passion as a creator and curator in the digital space. But this space comes with a narrow view of identity, something Ayesha refused to accept.

Instead of assuming the labels she’d be given, Ayesha rejected the ones that didn’t align with her and crafted her own identity through creative expression. And by sharing her love and creative work online, she’s been able to form a community of people committed to doing the same.

Join us in today’s episode as we discuss taking control of your own identity and being open to new levels of understanding. Ayesha shares how she flows through her creative journey, practices radical faith, and nurtures her small but sacred community.

Listen to episode 372 now!

In episode 372 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

  • [6:16] The origins of creative energy and Ayesha’s creative process
  • [8:36] Being a creator and a curator in the digital space
  • [12:39] Reading and drawing inspiration from books on your creative journey
  • [14:53] The power of storytelling in getting to know ourselves and the Universe
  • [20:40] Deciding which labels you want to carry and which don’t align with you
  • [25:31] Redefining “community” and accepting community care
  • [30:42] The foundations of heart math and how it connects us to those around us
  • [37:29] Spreading love in the environment you’re in
  • [39:22] Becoming flexible with our identities in order to be open to a new understanding
  • [43:40] Bringing your faith and trust to everything you do
  • [47:34] How to invite synchronicity into your life through the practice of kairomancy
  • [52:17] Practicing love in its most pure sense
  • [56:15] Reclaiming your triggers and taking control of the impact others have on you
  • [01:03:51] Understanding the New Earth and why we need to connect with the old ways

What is sacred to you?

On our journeys to adulthood, many of us lose sight of what we most value. We devote our energy to fitting into society’s standards of what we should want. But when we do that, we live out of alignment–with our desires, with our goals, and with our highest selves.

In today’s episode, I’m chatting with Tara-Nicholle Kirke about defining and protecting what is most sacred to you.

In her work as a breakthrough coach, Tara has spoken with hundreds of high-powered people stuck in negative, limiting habits. She has witnessed the damage that fear, worry, and internalized oppression can do to even the most vibrant individuals.

But Tara has also witnessed the transformation that arises when you define what you truly want and protect it at all costs.

Join us in today’s episode as we discuss the power of sacred rituals and uncovering your true desires. Tara explains how you can train yourself into more positive thought patterns and how to rely on your own intuition.

Listen to episode 371 now!

In episode 371 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

  • [4:09] The beautiful chance encounter that brought Elizabeth and Tara together
  • [10:32] Practicing leaning into fear when others might run away from it
  • [13:04] Parental fears and worries and what it’s like being on the giving and receiving ends
  • [16:30] Training positive thought habits and deconstructing negative ones
  • [22:14] Habits vs. rituals and how each plays a role in our lives
  • [26:49] Activism through individual expression and taking up space for your dreams and goals
  • [33:01] Damaging disciplines that preach rewards without sacredness
  • [36:25] Setting boundaries and practicing the skill of keeping them
  • [39:01] Why ‘time in the field’ is necessary to reaching certain growth and awakenings
  • [48:20] What ‘sovereignty’ really means and how the true meaning has been altered online
  • [54:21] Listening to your own soul instead of defaulting to others’ visions and intuition

Are you living in alignment with the way you were designed?

Too often, we try to fit ourselves into molds that just don’t suit us, to change who we are to conform to a set of societal ideals. But we’re all designed to be different, and just because you don’t operate a certain way doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with you.

In today’s episode, I’m chatting with Erin Claire Jones about the ways Human Design can inform how we live, work, and communicate.

Through her work as a Human Design Guide, Erin provides real, personalized guidance based on who you are built to be. She helps people across the globe understand themselves better in order to live more fulfilling, more aligned lives.

The better we understand ourselves, the better we can be, both at home and at work. And when you bring your partner and peers into the fold, Human Design becomes a language for understanding one another as well.

Join us in today’s episode as we discuss the basics of Human Design and help you start reading your own chart. Erin shares which parts of your chart to dive into first and how to implement that insight in your everyday life.

Listen to episode 370 now!

In episode 370 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

  • [5:25] Understanding your Human Design profile and how it relates to compatibility
  • [9:50] Finding balance between the two numbers in your profile

  • [16:56] Creating boundaries in life and business according to your profile

  • [34:20] What the arrows mean in your Human Design chart
  • [46:57] How Human Design might align with your other gifts and ways of perceiving the world
  • [49:57] Why it’s okay not to understand your entire chart and what you should pay the most attention to
  • [52:32] Understanding the channels in your chart
  • [56:47] How Human Design digs deeper than generic advice and offers personalized guidance
  • [58:29] Connecting with your intuition and how to know if you’re naturally inclined to it

Is the work you’re doing now going to have a generational impact?

Whether we realize it or not, our lives have been shaped by the generations that came before us. And as a woman of multiple heritages, I am intimately aware of the ways I will impact those who come after me.

In today’s episode, I’m meeting with Asha Ramakrishna, Spiritual Mentor and author of The Priestess Code.

Asha lives her life by a simple credo: feel good, be wealthy, give back. In connecting with her heritage–both in this life and her past lives–she’s realized the full scope of her own impact and devoted her life to empowering others.

Through her work in Human Design, and Spiritual Mentorship, she guides her clients to do the same. Asha helps entrepreneurs and service-hearted people connect with their true selves while also building generational wealth for their descendants.

Join us in today’s episode as we discuss Asha’s experience as a multi-ethnic woman, how she learned to flow with the seasons of her life, and why she practices “sacred commerce” in her business and personal life.

In episode 369 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

Did you know you have access to an infinite library of spiritual wisdom.

It’s true. This ‘library’ is the Akashic Records, a divine database of everything happening across our Universe and every dimension it contains. And with some practice, we can all tap into that infinite wisdom.

In today’s episode, I’m meeting with my original reader and trainer Helen Vonderheide to explore what the Akashic Records hold for us.

When she first accessed the Record seven years ago, Helen felt as if a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. She could truly see the interconnectedness of all things. Helen fell in love with the Records, and she knew she wanted to help others access them.

Now, Helen teaches others to access and receive information from the Akashic Records in a way that works with their vibration. Through her work, she’s helped heal and guide hundreds of people to their highest selves.

Join us in today’s episode as we discuss Helen’s experience as an Akashic Records reader, how to become the highest versions of ourselves, and bridging the gap between ourselves and the divine.

Listen to episode 368 now!

In episode 368 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

Are you constantly stressed about money?

It’s not you. Capitalism strives to keep us worried about money, to keep us spending too much and working harder to make up for it. It’s a vicious cycle, but you can break out of it. You just have to do the inner work.

In today’s episode, I’m sharing my four-step framework for rewiring your money mindset and living in alignment–with your needs, your desires, and your soul.

Whether you own a business or work in the corporate world, you probably hear the same messages: Work more, make more, spend more. And while some people do dream of making seven figures, that’s just not in alignment for most of us.

If that life doesn’t feel right to you, that’s okay. You’re allowed to define your own version of success, to craft your own vision of prosperity, and to treat money as what it really is: an exchange of energy.

Join me in today’s episode as I discuss my own money mindset journey, my framework for rewriting your money story, and how to trust your own path to prosperity.

Listen to episode 367 now!

In episode 367 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

  • [5:09] Spending money with intention and treating the process as an energetic exchange
  • [6:53] My four-step framework for rewiring your money mindset
  • [10:37] How to address your money story even if money isn’t a major concern in your life
  • [11:33] Releasing the world’s idea of ‘prosperity’ and defining it for yourself
  • [20:18] How to attract enough money while keeping your workload sustainable
  • [23:04] Allowing your money mindset to align with your needs, your dreams, and your soul

Do you feel connected to the erotic?

The word “erotic” has been co-opted by media, but the original meaning is less about sex and more about truly connecting with your body. When we experience the erotic, we transcend above thought, above ego to something much more divine.

In today’s episode, we’re talking with Rie Katagiri, the conscious movement educator and embodiment coach behind Erotic Movement Arts.

Rie first connected with her own body through yoga, but it wasn’t until she tried pole dancing that she realized what she was missing. She’d unknowingly been keeping part of her sensual energy locked up, and through erotic movement, she finally set it free.

After years of practicing, studying, teaching conscious movement, she opened her studio Erotic Body Movement to help others connect with their own bodies.

Now, Rie guides her students back into their bodies to experience the erotic and heal the rift between body and soul.

Join me in today’s episode as we discuss the healing powers of the erotic, the difference between eroticism and sexuality, the effects of the male gaze on our sensuality, and practicing reverence for our own bodies.

Listen to episode 366 now!

In episode 366 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

  • [8:11] Rie’s journey to the erotic arts and turning them into her career
  • [14:25] Finding the courage to connect with your body in a real, erotic way
  • [18:30] The erotic as the source of your hypersexualized persona, not the other way around
  • [22:43] Opening up to the beauty all around that you’ve become desensitized to
  • [31:19] Erotic movement as an escape from the male gaze and the hypersexualization of women of color
  • [48:54] Separating eroticism from extraction and the bringing back “erotic’s” original definition
  • [52:50] Rie’s inspirations and artists that exude erotic energy
  • [58:58] Moving beyond the ego and into the body’s experience
  • [1:01:50] The power of reverence for our own bodies and experiences

What does it really mean to have an inclusive business?

These days, it seems like the words diversity, inclusivity, and equity run together. But what do these words really mean for the people they affect most, and how can we create a work environment where they can truly thrive?

In today’s episode, we’re talking with Ericka Hines of Every Level Leadership and Black Womxn Thriving.

Ericka has devoted her professional life to training foundations and businesses across the country on creating inclusive culture within their businesses.

She teaches that everyone - from entry-level employees to CEOs - has the power to make an impact, even if that impact is only in their own mindset.

More recently, Ericka has been working on Black Womxn Thriving, a research project designed to help understand how Black womxn exist in workplaces that often undervalue them. In doing this research, Ericka and the team aim to discover how businesses can best create workplaces where Black womxn can thrive, both professionally and personally.

Join me in today’s episode as we discuss the emotional labor of social justice work, how to steer clear of performative activism, making the commitment to social change in your business, and why making mistakes is a necessary part of the growth process.

In episode 365 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

  • [6:08] Navigating conflicting emotions in life and in social justice work

It takes getting curious and asking yourself questions about your beliefs, judgments, behaviors and more. It takes getting to know your conditioning vs. your truth.

How does being an equity-centered leader sound to you?

In this age there is a lot of talk (an therefore a lot of confusion!) about the relationship between DEI - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Anti-racism, Social Justice, Collective Liberation, how all of these things work together, and how to integrate them into your leadership. That's why it's important to have an experienced pro explain the nuances of what is behind people’s beliefs, their behaviors, and how social structures develop.

To enlighten us around all things equity-centered, we welcome returning guest Trudi Lebron. Trudi is a coach and consultant for people who want to step into their leadership potential by prioritizing equity. In this episode, Trudi reveals how leaders of all kinds can learn and use real antiracism practices as more than just a DEI statement.   We got into how businesses actually treat people while often marketing diversity as a branding move and how organizations need to put real work into assessing and confronting how they uphold oppressive systems.

We also discuss how antiracism is a collection of behaviors, policies, and self-reflection.  It’s hard, it’s healing, and it’s the only way to move forward.

Listen to episode 363 now!

In episode 363 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

  • [7:15] One must be tuned into the social climate around imbalance of power and exploitation of people with marginalized identities.
  • [20:00] Elizabeth and Trudi discuss callouts, policing, and interrogating yourself.
  • [22:30] Where keeping it real goes wrong.
  • [26:00] People exploring their real-life biases with discussion and practice.
  • [28:45] On using shame as a teaching tool.
  • [45:30] How to identify one’s privilege and how to leverage it instead of exploiting it.
  • [58:00] The real nature of accountability.
  • [1:09:00] Equity as social evolution and the only way to run a sustainable operation.

What if I told you there was a simple formula to cultivating love in your life?

I can guess your reaction! But while the formula we’re talking about today is simple to remember, it does require work to put into practice.

In today’s episode, we’re talking with Dr. Ezzie Spencer, creator of the re.love method.

Ezzie helps women walk through a proven process of healing as they face their blocks to love. Her work has been influenced by her experience as a human rights lawyer and her own struggle with a toxic relationship.

Ezzie isn’t promoting a quick fix. She helps her clients generate lasting change so that they can attract the right people into their lives.

If you’ve been around for a while, you know that dating is one of my life’s crucibles. I keep coming back to this issue, and it keeps shaping me, challenging me, and directing me onto new paths. I recorded this episode with Ezzie back in August, and her insights resonated with me so much that I immediately signed up for her program!

Join me in today’s episode as we discuss common roadblocks to love and how self-compassion, self-forgiveness, and gratitude can help you develop deeper, lasting relationships.

Listen to episode 362 now!

In episode 362 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

  • [5:21] How Ezzie developed the Luna Abundance program as a result of her work as a human rights lawyer
  • [9:30] How the re.love method was born out of Ezzie’s experience with a toxic relationship
  • [14:28] How the re.love method is designed and what the process is like.
  • [20:22] Why and how to move slowly in your healing journey
  • [27:30] The difference between allowing yourself to feel pain and holding onto it
  • [35:14] How Ezzie works with women to learn self-compassion and acceptance

  • [41:50] How forcing gratitude at the wrong point in your healing can be harmful
  • [49:17] How genuine internal motivation can help you in your healing journey
  • [53:11] Ezzie’s answer to the common question: “Where are all the good men?”

Birthdays can be emotionally tumultuous, but when approached with intentionality, they can be opportunities for growth.

As my birthday approaches, I like to spend the month or so leading up to that date doing a life inventory - I call this the birthday portal.

I turn inward and review what habits or patterns I need to get go of or call in. What I need to forgive others or myself. What wild dreams or desires I want to embrace for the coming year.

In my birthday portal reflections this year, I came across a list I wrote to myself on my last birthday - 37 thoughts I’d like to share with you.

Today’s episode has a lot to unpack and some of it may not resonate with you.

As always, I hope you find some hidden gems that speak to you, that move you, that guide you on your journey of healing and self-liberation.

I’ve never viewed growing older as something to dread. Instead, I see it as an opportunity to grow further into our wisdom, power, and wholeness.

Join me in today’s episode as I unpack what I’ve learned this past year and share a special opportunity that just might be what you’ve been waiting for.

Listen to episode 361 now!

In episode 361 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

  • [2:19] What a birthday portal is and how Elizabeth likes to commemorate it

  • [13:08] How Elizabeth has been focusing on being an instrument of healing and not the force itself

Have you ever wondered if your dreams were trying to tell you something?

Many of us have a complicated relationship with our dreams. We may view them as nonsensical, unimportant, or even scary. We may also wonder if our subconscious mind is trying to send us a message.

Do our dreams warn us of the future or simply rehash the various emotions of our day? Or are they just random firings of an overactive brain? Do the people, colors, and sensations that we experience while dreaming actually mean anything?

Today I am joined by my long-time friend Heather Lindemenn, who has spent years working with dreams as the primary vehicle for growth and healing.

Heather’s studies and experience have taught her that dreams are the voice of our inner world. When we understand the language of our dreams, we can uncover and reconnect with the wisdom of our souls.

In today’s episode, Heather walks us through ways to approach, remember, and interpret our dreams.

With a simple daily ritual, it is possible to begin to recall our dreams so that we can uncover their truths. We talk about different types of dreams, how they each have a purpose, and why the words we use to describe our dreams matter.

Join me in today’s episode to begin your journey toward a deeper understanding of your inner world.

What insight and guidance are hidden within you waiting to be discovered?

Imagine a generation of young women who feel at home in their bodies and confident in who they are as women.

How would the world and our society change if teen and preteen girls were empowered to see their bodies as magical? If they instinctively built up other women? If they trusted their intuition and ability to make an impact on their world?

In today’s episode, I’m chatting with Eliza Reynolds, founder of Badass Girls and a pioneer in bringing embodiment practices to teens.

Eliza has been facilitating conversations with this age group since she herself was a teen. Her body of work,  Badass Girls, is a devoted online space for teens and preteens. This collection of resources promotes a positive peer community, body literacy, self-trust, and more

In this episode, we talk about the unique challenges of growing up in today’s world and why Eliza believes adolescence is the most sacred time of our lives. She and a highly trained group of mentors have created the Badass Academy as an intergenerational community that is so vital yet often missing in the lives of girls today. You can also listen in on her Be Real podcast and follow her on Instagram.

Join me in today’s episode as we discuss how we can better support girls on their way to adulthood and help them find their place in the greater community.

And if you have a teen or preteen girl in your life, be sure to check out everything Badass Girls has to offer in the links below.

In today’s world of pop psychology, it’s easy to analyze ourselves out of our intuition.

We tend to live solely in our minds and ignore or even reject the physical and spiritual parts of ourselves. To achieve true liberation and healing, we must learn to embrace our whole beings.

In today’s episode, I’m talking with renowned psychic Aycee Brown about her work with spiritual empowerment.

Aycee uses the tools of Human Design, Astrology, and Numerology to bring spiritual clarity to people’s lives. She helps people discover and embrace their innate psychic, intuitive, and divine talents. She aims to empower people to live life unburdened and truer to themselves.

I’m excited to dig deeper into Acyee’s work. For me, spirituality is inextricably linked with embodiment practices. They both help us get out of our heads and experience life more fully.

Join me in today’s episode to learn more about spiritual empowerment, the Mystic Path, and the Divine Talent within you that’s waiting to be embraced.

  • [17:02] Aycee’s experience with channeling and how she uses this gift to empower others
  • [26:26] How Aycee’s psychic gift informs her use of human design, numerology, astrology, and other tools

  • [39:16] How multidimensionality helps Aycee to better understand herself and others

When life is in limbo, patience and humility can help us land back on solid ground.

If you’ve been following along for a while, then you know that my life has been in flux amidst a cross country move as this episode goes live.. I’m sure many of you are also feeling the pain of living through this pandemic, regardless of what else is going on in your lives.

There is a lot going on that we can’t control, so we must focus on what we can: our mindsets, emotions, and the choices we make.

In today’s episode, I’m talking about the vital importance of patience and humility in times of turmoil.

The road to embodied healing and self-liberation isn't always sexy. Humility and patience are challenging and leave us feeling vulnerable. But they are the best way I know to have a better tomorrow.

It’s time to let go of ego and embrace compromise.

It’s time to release our expectations and embrace uncertainty.

It’s time to face difficult things within ourselves and embrace whatever creates the most good for the most people.

Practicing patience and humility is not easy. But for the sake of our collective healing and liberation, they are essential. Together we can recapture the sacredness, potential, and possibility of everything life has to offer.

Join me in today’s episode to learn how these unsexy ways of being can help you find peace and purpose even in uncertain times.

[19:11] The need for compromise and letting go if we are truly committed to the progress of humanity

[25:53] How patience and humility are essential in times of crisis and change

[27:16] A crucial question to reflect on as we continue to work toward embodied healing and self-liberation

This episode is a mix of two things today. First some reflection now that I’m in Miami of my time in California, some things I’ve been realizing ever since I decided to move -so don’t worry, I’m not fresh processing in real-time on the show here, you all know that’s not my style.

Then the second thing, as it came up in my reflections - is about who we invest our resources with, especially around personal and professional development - and how to make the wisest, most soul-aligned choices and decisions with our time, energy, and dollars…

What both things really have in common is one of my favorite drums to beat - DISCERNMENT.

My friend Tara Nicholle Kirke has a book about Transformational Consumers - I will have her on the podcast in the Fall she’s an epic human and the story of how we met is great - but I was diving into her book lately because that’s what I am and that’s what you all are.

We’re all transformational consumers.

We invest in transformation - from health products, to books, to programs, retreats, courses, healing..etc.

There’s nothing wrong with that - we care about and prioritize healing, growth and development, and for some that includes spirituality, too...so this episode is really dedicated to being WISER Transformational Consumers so we can put our time and money in the best hands. Hands we trust, hands that share our values, hands that are actually invested themselves in collective healing and liberation, not just self aggrandization, amassing wealth and influence for themselves, and whose businesses and programs in very unobvious ways keep the systems we’d love to dismantle alive, well, healthy, and thriving!

So let’s pull some wool out from over our eyes, shall we??!

In episode 355 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

  • [9:09] My friend Tara’s book, The Transformational Consumer
  • [10:47] The return on investment of transformational consumerism
  • [13:53] A reflection on my 8+ years in California and the soul truths I learned
  • [17:34] Why I am so committed to transparency and the truths about the polluted self-help industry
  • [19:21] My new rule for myself about investing into programs, courses, etc.
  • [22:55] Why we should be able to ask people where their money comes from
  • [26:05] How we’re built as people and how we participate in shenanigans as consumers
  • [31:19] Why you need to take time to discern if someone is really who they say they are
  • [34:02] Why you should avoid approaches that invalidate your lived experiences

Has your relationship with your body kept you from embracing all that you are capable of?

As women, we receive the message that our bodies are shameful and even dangerous at a young age. We are taught not to trust our bodies and to tame them to others’ expectations.

In today’s episode, I share with you the name I’ve created for this experience:

The Sacred Body Wound

Almost every woman carries the Sacred Body Wound, and it impacts the way we treat ourselves and interact with the world.

Do you struggle with identifying and processing emotions and feelings?

Do you feel ashamed of your body?

Do you battle with an eating disorder or otherwise self-harm?

Do you avoid exploring your sexuality, or hyper-focus on diets and weight loss?

These are examples of the Sacred Body Wound at work, and it affects each woman differently.

Regardless of how this wound manifests in your life, its primary goal is to make you forget how sacred, miraculous, and wondrous your body is.

Combatting this wound plays a vital part in our paths toward embodied healing and self-liberation. And giving a name to this wound is the first step toward winning that battle.

Join me in today’s episode to learn more about The Sacred Body Wound and how to begin to heal it in your life.

Everything you’ve ever needed has always been inside of you, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to find.

Much of my work can be deep and confronting. The path toward embodied healing and self-liberation requires work!

But having fun has a place in healing as well.

After working with thousands of women over the past several years, I’ve developed a way of looking at our wild nature that is both fun and informative: The Wild Soul Archetypes.

The Wild Soul Archetypes help us to better understand and access the power that is inside each one of us.

These archetypes are energetic expressions that can be used for healing, self-discovery, growth, and reprogramming old paradigms, habits, and beliefs.

We naturally embody a particular Wild Soul Archetype (or several!) during different seasons of our lives. As we learn to identify and connect with each of them, we grow ever closer to experiencing wholeness and freedom.

The purpose of this episode is to provide a quick primer about the Wild Soul Archetypes before we dig deeper into them over the next several weeks.

I’m excited to help you unearth and reclaim what’s already inside of you. The six Wild Soul Archetypes are...

The Sovereign Queen,

The Warrior Goddess,

The Medicine Woman,

The Sacred Creatress,

The Divine Mother, and

The Erotic Priestess.

These archetypes represent the beautiful multi-dimensionality that exists in all women. Join me in today’s episode to learn which one you are currently embodying and how her wisdom can guide you in your journey toward embodied healing and self-liberation.

Does the idea of embodiment seem elusive?

The last two episodes explored the self-liberation and embodied healing frameworks.

But are you stuck wondering what embodied healing actually looks like?

I’m answering that question in today’s episode.

This week, I’m sharing the ways I’ve seen embodied healing manifest within the Embodied Living Center community.

Time and again, I’ve seen embodied healing help people to

  • Reconnect to themselves
  • Reconnect to the Divine or their spirituality
  • Heal long-standing interpersonal issues
  • Tap into their confidence, see their strengths, and live without apology

But you don’t have to take my word for it.

I’m also sharing the words of people like you who’ve experienced healing through the Embodied Living Center.

Everyone’s experience is unique because everyone has their own path.

But what I have seen across the board is people recognizing their multidimensionality - the gifts and talents they have to offer the world - and embracing it to live fuller, happier lives.

Are you searching for a way to live in alignment with who you’re meant to be?

Take a few minutes to listen to what these women have to say, and decide if embodiment is the piece you’ve been missing.

The embodied healing journey doesn’t have to be exhausting or intimidating when we remember to move in cycles, not a straightforward path.

In this week’s episode, I’ll be giving an overview of my embodied healing framework. I prefer frameworks to formulas because everyone’s healing journeys are unique and must allow for flexibility.

I call this framework The Four I’s of Embodied Healing:

  • Intentionality
  • Introspection
  • Integration, and
  • Integrity

The purpose of this framework is to provide clarity for your healing journey. The self-liberation framework that I shared last week provides support and direction for the embodied healing framework.

I’ll briefly explore each of The Four I’s in today’s episode.

For deep dives into both the self-liberation and the embodied living framework, check out the Embodied Living Center.

Designed to be a cave of wonders for embodied healing and self-liberation, the ELC has a plethora of resources to guide you along your path toward healing. It includes access to 160+ class recordings, two mini-courses, and support from a

like mind-heart-souled community of women from around the world

Summer enrollment for the Embodied Living Center is open now through June 22. Reserve your spot today!

After exploring the embodied healing framework, I discuss how honoring nature helps you to get the most from your embodied healing journey.

Our bodies are reflections of nature because we are in nature and of nature.

When we are aware of the energy of Nature’s seasons and cycles, we can be more intentional with our embodied healing.

When we incorporate the energy of the seasons into our healing, we don’t have to expend as much of our own energy. We can let nature assist with some of the heavy lifting.

How does this work? Listen to today’s episode to find out!

I also share the four laws of nature that I have personally observed (mostly from my plants!) that have helped me better understand embodied healing. We can learn a lot from Mother Nature about being gentle with ourselves and growing well.

Today’s episode isn’t intended to be a course (or even a crash course) in embodied healing. Instead, I’ve compiled a library of resources that I have either created or personally used. I hope they will resonate with you as you determine your next step.

If you’re listening to this in real-time, then I highly recommend that your next step be to join us in the #IShineYouShine challenge.

There’s still one week left - including our summer solstice celebration! Join us for free here!

I’m excited to see where this next year takes each of us on our journeys toward embodied healing and self-liberation.

Embodied healing and self-liberation are not just token phrases for feel-good ideology - they are the pathways that can help us create a better world.

In today’s episode, I break down my interpretation of self-liberation and embodied healing. Next week I’ll get more into how they work together.

I didn’t coin these terms. No one has. And plenty of people use them to mean different things.

I want to be clear about what I mean when I speak of self-liberation and embodied healing because they currently define my work.

In the most basic sense,

Embodied healing is healing that goes beyond mental processing alone. It integrates the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our individual and collective consciousness.

Self-liberation is about getting free from things that keep us from being our whole selves.

But it doesn’t stop there. The miraculous thing about individual embodied healing work is that it naturally leads to collective healing. Likewise, self-liberation work leads to collective liberation.

After the year+ we’ve experienced as a global community, we are overdue for big shifts in collective healing and liberation.

But healing isn’t a one-and-done event. It’s also not a straight uphill climb.

In this episode, I explain

  • How healing happens in layers over time
  • Why healing and recovery go hand-in-hand
  • How the common myth of “brokenness” may be holding you back
  • What wholeness looks like in the context of self-liberation and embodiment.

I also discuss my self-liberation framework. (If you’ve been around for a while, you’re probably already familiar with it - or may know it as one of its former names, as I’ve been developing the framework for seven years now.)

I believe healing frameworks should work more like healing maps. In my framework, the eight tenets you work with as they resonate with you are

  • Surrender
  • Release
  • Trust
  • Receptivity
  • Wild Dreaming
  • Desire
  • Love, and
  • Truth.

Dive into today’s episode for a brief overview of how the tenets of self-liberation anchor your work in embodied healing.

And to jumpstart (or continue!) your self-liberation work, join me on June 11th for the #IShineYouShine challenge!

This is a free 11-day embodiment challenge. I’m going to help you “Get Your Shine Back” through

What does it mean to reclaim true love and light?

Do you cringe a little when you hear that phrase - love and light? Are you wondering how it pertains to embodied healing?

In today’s episode, we’re talking about this highly charged term and uncovering its true meaning.

Love and light are powerful energies that help us to heal and to heal our world. But there’s no avoiding the way phrases like “love and light” or “choose love over fear” have been abused over the years.

It’s time we reclaimed “love and light.” Not just the term, but the Love and Light that are available to us out in the world.

Darkness has been clouding our lives for over a year. Not just in our local cities and towns, but in our worldwide community. Uncertainty and fear are our daily companions. It’s easy to feel stuck and confused about what our next steps should be.

That’s why we must choose this moment to intentionally recalibrate our personal lives and communities toward more light. Love and light can heal even deep, generational wounds. If our world ever needed a push toward healing, it is now.

For my part, I’ve decided to reboot the #IShineYouShine challenge on Friday, June 11.

The goal is to show you how to release the dark in your own life and provide you with some embodied tools and practices to help. We’ll also provide you with a pop-up community in which to do the work.

Are you ready to invite more love and light into your life and take the next step in embodied healing and self-liberation?

Join me in today’s episode to explore what it means to reclaim love and light.

I’ll also share more details about the #IShineYouShine challenge that you won’t want to miss.
