Are you living according to your truth? Many of us live in our heads, making decisions according to our cultural conditioning and what we feel we “should” do. But when you learn to tap into your body, you can live, work, and exist in alignment with your inner truth.

In today’s episode, I’m chatting with Feminine Embodiment Coach Jenna Ward about her experience with feminine embodiment and magnetism.

As a coach, Jenna helps women get in touch with their feminine energy and practice embodiment in their daily lives. She teaches her students how to open themselves up to new possibilities and live in alignment with their truths.

Two main things that she really focuses on are magnetism and discernment. Through gentle guidance, acceptance, and body awareness she teaches her students how to stay in tune with her body and emotions.

Join me in today’s episode as I chat with Jenna about what it means to be embodied and why we both think society as a whole would benefit from it. Jenna is also sharing her advice for practicing magnetism in your life and work, and she’s opening up about inspiring embodiment in her toddler.

About the EMBODIED Podcast with Elizabeth DiAlto

Since 2013 I’ve been developing a body of work that helps women embody self love, healing and wholeness. We do this by focusing on the four levels of consciousness - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

In practical terms this looks like exploring tools and practices to help you  tune into the deep wisdom of the body and the knowing of the heart, which I believe are gateways to our souls. Then we cultivate a new relationship with our minds that allows the mind to serve this wisdom and knowing and soul connection, rather than override it, which is what many of us were taught.

If you’ve been doing self help or spiritual development work for a while, these are the types of foundational things that often people overlook in pursuit of fancier concepts that often aren’t practical or sustainable. Here, we will focus on building these strong foundations so you can honestly and thoroughly embody self love. If you’re feeling it, subscribe to the show, and leave us a review wherever you listen from. You can also keep up with show updates and community discussion on Instagram here.

Does pleasure play a role in your divine experience?

It’s not often we hear mainstream conversations about the intersection of spirituality and sensuality. But for me, pleasure, sensuality, and God are inextricably connected.

In today’s episode, I’m chatting with author and founder of Booty Parlor, Dana Myers all about how pleasure and sensuality play into spiritual practice.

Even as a young girl, Dana was lucky enough to recognize the role that pleasure can–and should–play in a woman’s life. Through candid conversations with her mother and her own self-exploration, Dana created the foundation for a lifelong practice in self-love and sensuality.

Now, she guides other women to discover their own sensuality and take ownership of their pleasure through her books and women’s empowerment brand Booty Parlor. Whether she’s creating for Booty Parlor or educating her own children, Dana holds pleasure and embodiment in high regard.

Join me in today’s episode as I chat with Dana all about her journey to discovering her own sensuality and how she advocates for others to do the same.. She’s sharing the role pleasure and sensuality play in her spiritual life, and she also opened up about how she broaches these topics with her young children.

Do you know how to love yourself and others well?

Not the kind of love where you try to fix, change or save people. Not the kind of love where you chase someone who doesn’t love you back. But the kind of love in which you want for others the same thing you want for yourself: whatever God has in store.

In today’s episode, I’m sharing a personal journey with self-love and romantic love, and I’m offering insights on how to let your love flow.

To me, love is divine. It comes from a greater source–be that God, the Universe, or whatever you prefer to call it. When we love ourselves and others, we allow that energy to flow through us.

Only when we love while staying true to ourselves can we experience love in its truest form.

Join me in today’s episode as I share a personal journey with self-love and romantic love, including how I’ve learned to set gentle boundaries and engage in courageous communication with those I care most about.

  • [11:56] Understanding codependency and recognizing that it is not love
  • [14:28] Finding healthy examples of romantic love in the people around you

Often what appears in our lives as a crisis is also an invitation to connect more deeply with the Divine and with our own souls.

We all experience different levels of crises in our lives. And while I’ve been blessed with pretty good health for most of my life, I experienced something at the start of 2022 that catalyzed a deeper relationship with my body and shifted my regard for physical health and healing.

In today’s episode, I’m sharing about the experience..

In the days leading up to and just following an emergency surgery, I spent a lot of my time in prayer and reflection. As a long time practitioner of surrender and trust, I handed a lot of what could have been scary or stressful over to the Divine and invoked grace, not just for myself, but for the people around me and especially those who were supporting me.. And perhaps more than anything else, I focused on my body and it’s vast healing capacity.

Join me in today’s episode as I share about my health crisis at the beginning of the year, how it brought me into even deeper relationship with and reverence for my body, and the opportunity it created for me to slow down and reflect.

  • [10:00] Experiencing a mystical initiation in the midst of the health crisis

  • [28:16] How I’m feeling now and how the recovery process is going so far
  • [33:22] A message I received from my departed grandfather when I needed it most
  • [35:15] Deeper layers to seeing my body as a miracle and being grateful for all it does
