A few months back a woman shared a video in the Untame Yourself Facebook group with one line of description, "THIS IS INCREDIBLE." The video is titled, "What Men Are Craving" and it's a talk given by someone I'd met before - John Wineland. The conversation that erupted in the comments on that post was so interesting. From oooohing and ahhhing to getting really triggered, it was clear this conversation was a hot one. So I invited John on the show to dig deeper into what he covered in the video and to be honest, challenge him a bit on some of the things that I personally felt were a "bit much" myself. What ensued is a gorgeous conversation where I cried at least once. This is a savorer - enjoy!
About John Wineland:
For the better part of a decade, John Wineland, an LA-based men's group facilitator, speaker and teacher has been guiding both men and women in the realms of life purpose, relational communication, sexual intimacy and embodiment.
Known for his groundbreaking work with men, John travels world-wide teaching his vision of embodied men's work and deep relational practice. In 2014, he founded The New Men’s Work Project, which has attracted men from around the world looking to develop as leaders in their relationships and communities. The Project is committed to the staggering goal of creating 1000 men's groups world-wide in the next ten years and has already supported trainings and groups throughout Europe and the U.S. John's clients include entrepreneurs, leading thinkers in the world of personal development and entertainment, Ted speakers and creative leaders in Hollywood.
John has studied and assisted with some of the world's leading spiritual, tantric and relational teachers; and he brings this multi-faceted approach, which is both energetic and highly practical, to his workshops and experiential coaching sessions. John's embodiment driven teaching draws from not only over 30 years experience of his own Buddhist meditative practice, but from the deep lineages of Vajrayana, Tantra, and Kundalini yoga; as well as the Taoist traditions of Iron Shirt Qi-Gong, to create a profound experience for men and women longing to express their deepest desires with open, fierce and loving hearts.
John is a frequent contributor to The Good Men Project, writing on spiritual and relational masculine practice; and has been featured on The Elephant Journal and Love TV. This year, John's first book, The Art of Masculine Leadership will be offered by Make a Difference Press in late October. He will also be traveling throughout Europe and the U.S. leading workshops on embodied men's work and sexual intimacy. Specific offerings include:
Institute for Masculine Leadership, which will offer a series of workshops, teachings and relational trainings to men.
The Art of Masculine Leadership, a three day training for men, London, England.

In this episode, John shares:
1. Embracing the feminine through time in nature
2. How men and women can relate with greater consideration and harmony
3. Why and how partnership is such and intense growth path
I had the pleasure of attending the wedding of today's guest Alexi Panos back in July and it was absolutely the best wedding I've ever attended. The reasons why are exactly the same reason why her interview is awesome. Alexi's energy is contagious and the woman's got depth and breadth. She's super fun, sexy, and grounded while being very conscious, intentional and focused on service. We talk about her first awakening while on tour with Ja Rule back in a former life where she was a singer, how it led her to building wells in Africa for the last 11 years and what she's learned about happiness through those journeys. Enjoy!
About Alexi Panos:
Alexi Panos is a truth junkie.
She's on a mission to make personal development mainstream by synthesizing big ideas into fun, bite sized nuggets of goodness that spread throughout the world and create a ripple effect of positivity and love.
Alexi does this through speaking + facilitating workshops around the globe, dishing insights from her personal quest for truth in her books + blogs, and knocking people’s socks off with her energetic YouTube Series. She created the school she always wanted to go to: SOUL SCHOOL-a global community of souls who are serious about diving deeper into what it means to be human, living their unique truth and creating with a sense of purpose. She is the co-founder of The Bridge Method (online) and The Bridge Experience (live workshops), which is a fully immersive and high octane human potential training that yields incredible results.

1. How meditation is efficiency

This is a super treat today, to have another dear friend, Amy Porterfield on the show. The reason it's so exciting is because I get to talk to Amy about things most people don't since her business is about social media marketing and doesn't really involve sharing much about her personal life. We get into being the primary breadwinner and how she appreciates her husband as a provider in many other ways, we talk about her experience being a step-mom, and we riff on the many intricacies of living in this interesting social media age we're in right now. Enjoy and share if you know anyone these topics apply to (which I have a feeling you do!).
About Amy Porterfield:
Entrepreneurs around the country depend on Amy Porterfield to show them step-by-step how to increase revenue, drive more online traffic, grow their email list, and strengthen their connection with their target market.
Drawing on her years as a content developer and marketer for some the country’s top corporations, along with her own experience in building a business from scratch, Amy provides priceless insights for a stress-free approach to starting and growing your own online business. With an email list of over 150,000 subscribers, a devoted following on social media, and a hit podcast, Amy shows that nice girls (and guys) don’t have to finish last when it comes to making a living – and a life – that you love.
In this episode, Amy shares:
1. Navigating friendship in this modern digital age
2. Being both a primary breadwinner and a step-mom and how that impacts family dynamics
If you've read my book, you know there's an entire chapter on spiritual bypass and this is something I get really fired up about. Today's guest Jen Blackstock is one of my best friends and a repeat guest which makes it extra special and wild as we get into energetic hygiene, personal responsibility, integrating the mind and body, and true sovereignty. This is one of those conversations that can only be described as electric. As I was interviewing today's guest, Nancy Levin, we were both so into what was coming up, it felt like two girls on a spiritual playground climbing the monkey bars of life's deepest questions. We talk about desire and authenticity, the relationship between anger, sadness and grief. We get into how to take your power back by owning the qualities of yourself you've buried or denied, and of course, financial ease. I hope you all love this one as much as I do - it's a gem!
