Untame the Wild Soul: Spirituality | Womanhood | Sex | Money | Relationships | Success (audio)

*Available in both audio and video in iTunes to satisfy your viewing/listening preference.* Untaming ourselves as women in the 21st century is about questioning our programming and conditioning and reconnecting to our TRUE nature. Do we want certain things because we think we're supposed to or a person or institution (government, religion, school, etc) taught us that's "how things work". Once we can identify the belief systems we operate under and determine whether or not we actually want to live this way - we have CHOICE. This podcast introduces you to powerful and inspiring women who have already done this and are living meaningful lives on their own terms. We also help you navigate some of the most important processes to understanding yourself like how to listen to your body, set boundaries, have courageous conversations with love, and more. This is about moving, nourishing and loving all your bodies - physical, spirit, mind, emotional and soul.

All year I've been hearing the name Philip McKernan from people I really admire and respect like former podcast guests Giovanni Marsico and Samantha Skelly, so when his team reached out to us about having him on the podcast I was an instant, "Hell yes!" Philip believes the path to a happy and fulfilling life is found through the meaning we derive in life through the WORK we do, our relationship to OTHERS and the most important relationship of all, the one with ones SELF. In this interview we jam on all of that, along with other interesting stuff like navigating fear, uncertainty and limitations, the relationship between judgement and compassion, the purpose of pain, how anger keeps us from accessing our intuition and so much more. It's one of those conversations I didn't want to come to an end. You'll probably want to listen more than once. Enjoy!

About Philip McKernan:

Philip works with entrepreneurs and business leaders all over the world. When people are seeking clarity about their future or want to move through roadblocks, seen and unseen, they call Philip.

He helps people get clear on who they are and where they need to go. He helps them transition in their personal and professional lives so people feel aligned in all areas of life. Philip believes who and what we do ‘off the ice’ has a huge impact on our results ‘on the ice’.

In more recent times he has worked with the Canadian Olympic Team, The Pentagon and has shared the stage with other speakers like the Dalai Lama and Richard Branson.

With a knack of getting into all sorts of scenarios – he’s caddied in golf for the President of Ireland, been chased and nearly killed by a bull elephant in Nigeria and made wine in Australia. He has traveled to 80 countries around the globe and has worked with orphans in Sri Lanka, Peru, India and Guatemala, written 4 books despite being dyslexic and his first documentary film will be released in late 2016. The film explores how the gift of giving makes up feel more worthy and alive. It also explores the science behind the impact of giving on our emotional well being, our mental health, our physiology and our business’s.

Philip believes the path to a happy and fulfilling life is found through the meaning we derive in life through the WORK we do, our relationship to OTHERS and the most important relationship of all, the one with ones SELF.

In this episode, Philip shares:

1. Loving what you do, who you are and who you're with
2. How and where we lose our identities in life and what to do about it
3. Common misunderstandings about anger
4. Why people come together in partnership

It's rare that my enthusiasm reads as quietness, but that's what you're going to find in this interview, wild ones. It was so enjoyable to be with a woman who teaches and is into very similar things to Wild Soul Movement, and presents in a very different way. I stumbled upon Devashi on my friend Susana's podcast and knew immediately I must have her on the show. She is a private person and kind of mysterious but the gems she offers are deep - this conversation is an intriguing one. Enjoy!

About Devashi Shakti:

Dévashi Shakti - Founder of Tigress Yoga & Sacred Female Yoga teacher training, is a pioneer in feminine psycho-sexual development and practical Sacred Feminine wisdom. She has a few decades of experience as a practitioner, confidante and teacher. In her private practise, Dévashi has assisted thousands of women & couples to experience awakening of their internal energy. She’s passionate about providing sanctuary spaces for women to learn about their sensuality and sexuality in safe environments, without the ambiguous dynamics often found in the tantric world.

In this episode, Devashi shares:

1. What is feminine embodiment
2. Really being...and the many ways "thinking" gets in the way
3. Travel, nature, animals and how they can be our teachers

This interview with Amber Krzys can only be described as juicy and ripe because there is SO MUCH to be squeezed out of it. We took a deep dive into deconstructing and reconstructing the programming and conditioning of our culture and society. We get into vulnerability - real vulnerability - not that forced kind that is so rampant in the self-help world these days. We geek out on our journeys and some of the embarrassing stops along the way - and Amber describes what she calls, "creating mutant versions of ourselves." There's TONS of gems in this one, listen closely!

About Amber Krzys:

Born and raised in a single-parent home in Charleston, WV, Amber attended Point Park University where she received an MFA in musical theater. She moved to New York City to pursue her passion of acting, ultimately working on Broadway and touring with the musical Mamma Mia. In 2009, she left the world of theater and earned an MA in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. She founded two flourishing businesses as a professional coach and facilitator—bodyheart and Fierce Loving.

Amber has a thriving coaching practice where she serves a wide range of individuals, and also creates and facilitates her own coaching groups for body, business and life. Her individual clients range from moms, artists, small business owners to corporate and creative executives.

Amber’s work as a professional speaker has been featured at TEDx Malibu, MSN, the White House blog, University of Southern California, Pennsylvania State University and more. Located in Los Angeles, Amber lives with her boyfriend and two rescue pups, and helps people change their lives for the better as a coach, speaker and author.

In this episode, Amber shares:

1. The Earth as a school and we each have our own curriculum
2. The issue is not the issue - how you relate to the issue is the issue
3. What she's learned speaking at tons of colleges and universities about the differences and similarities between how young men and women experience their bodies and physical appearance
