Untame the Wild Soul: Spirituality | Womanhood | Sex | Money | Relationships | Success (audio)

*Available in both audio and video in iTunes to satisfy your viewing/listening preference.* Untaming ourselves as women in the 21st century is about questioning our programming and conditioning and reconnecting to our TRUE nature. Do we want certain things because we think we're supposed to or a person or institution (government, religion, school, etc) taught us that's "how things work". Once we can identify the belief systems we operate under and determine whether or not we actually want to live this way - we have CHOICE. This podcast introduces you to powerful and inspiring men and women who have already done this and are living meaningful lives on their own terms. We also help you navigate some of the most important processes to understanding yourself like how to listen to your body, set boundaries, have courageous conversations with love, and more. This is about moving, nourishing and loving all your bodies - physical, spirit, mind, emotional and soul.

This is an experimental episode, wild ones and I can't wait to hear how you respond to it. Kisma Orbovich is a dear friend who I met through working with Sheevaun Moran, and fun fact, was my next door neighbor in my first place in San Diego (for over a year before I even met her!). She's a super sensitive soul who was always a bit different from the people around her and didn't discover or embrace the gifts of her sensitivity until after many years as a musician playing all over the world in orchestras and philharmonics, and opening a yoga studio in Michigan. In this episode we get her expertise on the eight soul energies she uses to help clients identify and fulfill their purpose and understand themselves and she helps us understand how to relate to intuition. Enjoy!

She’s co-host of the award winning podcast Illumination with Nick and Kisma (click here) and is an active mentor for high performing artists, celebrities, CEO’s and entrepreneurs.

She’s passionate about helping people clear their blockages so they can Manifest from their Higher Self, step into their Full Potential and lead their life and business in line with their Soul’s Purpose. She teaches humans how to command their reality and live from Infinite Awareness.

In this episode, Kisma shares:

1. How the spiritual path isn't linear or easy all the time but totally worth it if you're willing to do the work (and tools to help you do the work!)
2. The eight soul energies
3. Divine Right Timing and Order

This interview has been months in the making and proof that Divine Right Timing is a thing. While trying to schedule this interview Katie and I went back and forth a million times, then we did it, and I ended up deleting the file and we had to re-do it. That said, we finally did it and I'm super glad because the conversation around healing from addictions from eating disorders to being a workaholic, self-help exhaustion and journaling as an integration tool was great. Enjoy!

About Katie Dalebout:

Through her blog, podcasts, videos, and courses, millennial blogger, speaker, and podcast host Katie Dalebout curates inspired wisdom that guides people to go deep and sift through the thoughts clouding their minds. She’s a contributor to Hello Giggles, Refinery29, and Mind Body Green, and in 2013 launched the weekly podcast Let It Out, which attracted wellness and lifestyle celebrities such as Gabrielle Bernstein, Tara Stiles, and Joe Cross in its first few episodes. She’s the author of the Amazon best-selling book Let It Out: A Journey Through Journaling (Hay House, 2016). She helps people develop a positive image of their bodies by embracing their creativity and personality outside of their physicality. She’s on a mission to share journaling tools that invoke deeper authenticity and self awareness.

In this episode, Katie shares:

1. Body Diversity and why it's helpful to gain an appreciation for all shapes and sizes
2. All things journaling - all the ways, the different types of journaling, and different purposes it can serve

This is a fun interview, wild ones. Kute Blackson is someone whose name I've been seeing and hearing around the transformational space for years but hadn't had a chance to drop in with until this interview. What you're going to hear in this episode is his incredible story of growing up witnessing miracles in Ghana that many of us would balk at, going against his family's wishes and coming to the US when he was 18 years old, and how he interacted with feeling that he was truly being led by a higher intelligence. We talk about navigating anger, how miraculous just being here and being alive is, and he shares a great question his dad used to ask him whenever he would worry as a teenager that I totally loved. Enjoy!

About Kute Blackson:

A charismatic visionary and transformational teacher, Kute Blackson offers a fresh, bold look at spiritual awareness for a whole new generation. Born in Ghana, West Africa, Kute's multicultural upbringing as the child of a Japanese mother and a Ghanaian father has spanned four different continents. His unique lineage lay the foundation for his approach to breaking down barriers and unlocking an individual's true gifts and greatness. Kute quickly learned that the "outside-in" approach favored by so many in the personal development space had to become an inside-out approach. So he decided to create his own method—a process that liberates the individual and the true self at the core and then pushes those gifts outward into the universe. This helps the individual get in touch with who they really are. It is a process of breaking free—so that the individual can live, give, and share the truest expression of their self. This is what Kute calls "Liberated Living." Colored with experiences from his own incredible journey, Kute’s debut book, You.Are.The.One., published by Simon & Schuster and released worldwide on June 7, 2016, shows readers how to unlock their true potential and live a life they love, through love. Kute is a next generation world leader out to awaken millions to Love and to Live their inspired destiny.

In this episode, Kute shares: 1. What Kute means by the title of his book "You Are The One" 2. The courage to tell the truth even when there's consequences 3. What compassion really means and how we can apply it to ourselves and others

Rachael Maddox is not only today's guest, but someone I've recently got to know better and a dear friend of Michael's. That's actually the reason you're getting to enjoy her on the show today - the last time they hung out she gifted him a copy of her book. I happened to get to it before he did and just a few chapters in I was Facebook messaging her to come on and talk specifically about healing from sexual trauma as it's something A LOT of my wild soul women face. I learned a ton and appreciate her loving nature, personal healing journey and fierce desire to serve now from the other side of things.

As this can be a super sensitive and triggering topic, please please reach out to either of us if you need any support during or after listening to this one.

About Rachael Maddox:

Rachael Maddox is a trauma resolution educator, coach and guide who dedicates her days to helping women who’ve experienced sexual trauma unshame and reclaim their pleasure, power and wholeness. She recently published her first book, Secret Bad Girl, where she tells the story of her own unshaming and reclaiming–of her wildness, her sensuality, her shadows and her light. Emerging now on a fierce mission to help as many women as possible who’ve experienced trauma, Rachael offers one-on-one support, courses, and a mastermind for women who are ready to dance hard with life.
For fun, Rachael writes songs on her ukulele, swims naked as often as possible, and lays quietly under trees.

In this episode, Rachael shares:

1. What happens in the body, the brain and the nervous system when trauma gets triggered
2. Specific and deep insights into healing from sexual trauma
3. What to do in times when you don't actually have a choice
