This week we’re celebrating Episode 400 of the Embodied Podcast! I can’t tell you all how much I appreciate your time, your love and your community over these last 400 episodes. It’s been a labor of love, joy, and what I call holy consistency over the years.

On my 39th birthday, inside the Wild Soul Sacred body Community, many of our members shared what the community and the podcast have taught them about life, spirituality, self-love, and coming home to themselves. It meant so much to me, not just because of the out-pouring of love, but also because it captures so clearly what I want this space to be: a healing, grounded, no-bullshit community where we can find and explore our true selves, cultivate more personal relationships with the divine, and learn to appreciate our bodies for a million reasons aside from how they look.

While there’s a sea of shallow “spiritual influencers” selling cookie-cutter ideal lifestyles you could be listening to, I’m so grateful you’re here, and that you’re also about collective healing, joy, and liberation.

In this upcoming season, I’ll be exploring joy and the way that joy is instrumental in our continued liberation. I want to remind you to keep reaching out for joy, to keep searching for the things that bring you deep and encompassing joy, and to practice the holy consistency that helps to feel joy and create a full, beautiful life for yourself.

Looking forward to our next 400 episodes!

In episode 400 we discuss:

  • [01:23] Your reminder to be comfortable and liberate yourself from the restraints of “professionalism” placed on you by others
  • [04:47] My birthday experience and what your words and notes meant to me
  • [05:51] How anyone with a relationship to the Divine can be a mystic
  • [07:19] Why I talk about God and invite my community to have their own spiritual, mystical experiences
  • [08:23] Why I want you to take what you need from this space, leave what doesn’t work for you, and be the most YOU that you can be
  • [12:14] How to join our welcoming, no-bullshit, spiritual community
  • [13:35] Why we’ll be exploring joy in this new season of the podcast
  • [16:04] How joy can help us create a reality to crowd out the “shitty stuff” trying to force its way into our lives
  • [17:26] How holy consistency creates an energetic foundation for our lives

About the EMBODIED Podcast with Elizabeth DiAlto

Since 2013 I’ve been developing a body of work that helps women embody self love, healing and wholeness. We do this by focusing on the four levels of consciousness - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

In practical terms this looks like exploring tools and practices to help you  tune into the deep wisdom of the body and the knowing of the heart, which I believe are gateways to our souls. Then we cultivate a new relationship with our minds that allows the mind to serve this wisdom and knowing and soul connection, rather than override it, which is what many of us were taught.

If you’ve been doing self help or spiritual development work for a while, these are the types of foundational things that often people overlook in pursuit of fancier concepts that often aren’t practical or sustainable. Here, we will focus on building these strong foundations so you can honestly and thoroughly embody self love. If you’re feeling it, subscribe to the show, and leave us a review wherever you listen from. You can also keep up with show updates and community discussion on Instagram here.

After spending most of my life exploring my sexuality through the lens of monogamy, I discovered a surprising truth about myself: I don’t actually want one romantic partner. This revelation led me to a new way of looking at my relationships and opened the door for me to finally explore non-monogamy.

I spent the last several months, which I dubbed my Sacred Slut Summer, intentionally exploring non-monogamy and how my intimate, romantic relationships can be sacred and fulfilling without being exclusive.

Choosing to explore love and intimacy through open relationships is a culmination of all my previous romantic experiences, and while some of those were better than others, each experience led me on this path to accepting the kind of love I find so much more satisfying - at least for now!

It’s also offered me a new opportunity to explore the kind of transparency and discernment that non-monogamy requires, and allowed me to lean into my interactions with the Divine and my self-love framework as I accept this new revelation in my romantic life.

I’m no expert on non-monogamy, but I hope you’ll find insights that you can take from my experiences and filter them into your own life and relationships, whether they are open, exclusive, or something else entirely.

In episode 399 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

  • [06:05] My first experience with my sexuality
  • [08:25] How I’ve learned to appreciate all the lessons I’ve gained from my past intimate relationships
  • [11:49] The differences between my conscious hoe phase and the more reckless promiscuity of my teens and twenties
  • [13:40] How taking a break from dating taught me about experiencing intimacy and pleasure in a more sacred way
  • [16:55] How I came to the revelation that I really didn’t want a partner
  • [19:37] The sacred prostitute and my inspiration for my Sacred Slut Summer
  • [26:01] Discovering the relational “nutrients” that I could only receive through intimate, romantic relationships
  • [28:53] Redefining my views on non-monogamy
  • [34:01] Why my relationship with my constellation of companions is so fulfilling right now
  • [37:13] How this exploration fits into my self-love framework
  • [40:48] The absolute, wildest story from my Sacred Slut Summer and the opportunity it offered to practice discernment
  • [43:56] How I offered opportunity to heal and repair the transparency and openness in this relationship
  • [47:29]  Why I’m still not comfortable offering specific advice on this topic

It’s a season of beginnings: a new season of the podcast, a new year of living (I’ll be 39 in a few days), a new way of looking at the intimate relationships in my life, and more.

As I move into this new season, I want to take a moment to reflect back on my 39 years of life and some of the most important lessons I’ve learned along the way.

In this episode, I’m letting myself flow and bringing you insights as I feel them. It’s an exploration of personal evolution and self-discovery.

I’m diving into self-love, emotional intelligence, the sacred, humility, relationships, love, and letting these lessons flow through intuitively.

All of these little lessons have led me toward liberation and healing. They’ve allowed me to architect and embrace the peaceful, joyful life that I have.

And while every lesson might not be immediately relevant to you, I hope you’ll be able to filter each one through your own unique lens and your own intuition to find the bits of truth that resonate with you.

In episode 398 of the Embodied Podcast we discuss:

  • [01:03] Reflections as I enter my 39th year
  • [04:58] How letting go of perfectionism is an act of self-love
  • [09:30] Discovering your relationship with yourself and developing your inner loving voice
  • [15:33] How embracing humility lets us release self-importance
  • [20:01] How I’m rethinking my intimate relationships
  • [25:20] Self-acceptance and not getting stuck on the “healing hamster wheel”
  • [30:03] The difference between judgment and discernment
  • [31:21] How the soul is the bridge to the Divine
  • [34:15] Why I don’t believe in being “single”
  • [37:42] The difference between compassion and tolerance
  • [40:01] How curiosity allows to stay open for growth and learning
  • [44:08] How shifting our context can expand our options
  • [48:05] Finding liberation in whatever context you need
  • [51:57] Don’t be afraid of shit
  • [54:43] Holding on to your integrity and telling the truth as your grow and change
  • [55:46] Responding in love to yourself and others
